Hi ! -- I'm Doctor Rob !

Everyone asks me, “When did you decide to be a dentist?” I am a little out of the ordinary as I decided to become a dentist when I was 6 years old. My mother wrote in my scrapbook that after a visit to my childhood dentist, Dr. Lippencott, I told her, “I’m going to be a dentist.”

Dr. Lippencott always made me feel special and important when I went to his office. I then came in contact with many other dentists from childhood to adulthood who encouraged me to follow my dream. Dr. Redmond took the time to answer my questions; Dr. Herman set a great example as a person; Dr. Silcher never tired of my questions, and finally Dr. Jeffry, who allowed me to work in his office during school breaks cemented my decision to pursue orthodontics.

After 12 years in Southern California for schooling, it was time for me to decide where to practice. My wife and I grew up in the Bay Area and were pleased when Dr. Jeffry invited me to join his practice. While we enjoyed sunny Southern California, we knew Northern California was where we wanted to settle to raise our three children.

I believe loving what you do provides the excitement to begin each day with enthusiasm. The office always presents new and exciting challenges. I work with a talented team who are passionate about helping others. Orthodontics is a profession where we make a life long impact and significant difference in people’s lives.

It’s an honor to help patients achieve a fabulous smile. Each person whose braces come off allows us the opportunity to change lives, one smile at a time. The cards and thank you notes remind us of the difference we make. One patient in particular stands out--a young girl, who happened to be blind, who wanted her smile to light up the room. When we completed her care, she told me, “I can’t see my smile, but I can feel it!” This young patient was a talented musician who went on to compose a song titled ‘You Make Me Smile’. To this day, I still listen to it in the car.

Our entire team builds a unique relationship with everyone who visits us. We make the journey to a beautiful smile more than brackets and wires. By having fun with our patients and their families we strive to create a memorable experience.

It would be my privilege to be your orthodontist. We are always accepting new patients, and we would love to help you achieve the smile you deserve
