We believe in giving back
Dr Rob provides orthodontic scholarships to the
underserved children in the community. Since 2011, Dr Rob has gifted more than
105 children with orthodontic scholarships valued at more than $700,000, at no
cost to the patient or family. The Sharing Smiles non-profit works with
community leaders to identify candidates and award scholarships. Our advisory
board specifically seeks individuals in special situations who could not
otherwise afford orthodontic treatment.
Our Mission
We strive to create self-confidence, inspire
hope and change the lives of children in our community. The gift of a smile for
a deserving individual can motivate them to "help pay it forward",
better themselves and give back.
What we do
An application can be downloaded from our
website, completed and returned to our office. Twelve students are chosen every
year in two application drives that end March 30 and September 30. Our advisory
board reviews each completed application and chooses award recipients. The
scholarship recipients are encouraged to pay this gift forward and use their
talents and time to help those around them. The application process is
competitive.
